School Physical Activity and Physical Literacy program provides activity, assessment resources for B.C. educators. myPITA member Nadine really likes their Fundamental Movement Skills Rubric. Also, check out Playbuilder which provides educators with over 1,000 engaging activities and lesson plans for Grades K-7 and tools that let you plan an entire PHE term in just six clicks. Free registration required.
Ophea’s resources have been developed to support elementary and secondary educators in using indoor and outdoor spaces safely and effectively for physical activity with students. The activities are filterable by grade, resource type, inclusivity, and more Beyond the Walls: Activities for the Outdoors Resources, Play for All Inclusive Intramural Activities, and Disability-Centred Movement: Supporting Inclusive Physical Education.
